Meeting ID: 921 5129 1606
Passcode: wessexham
Anyone with an interest in Amateur Radio
is welcome to drop in!

We are particularly aware that following the announcement this evening, some Radio Amateurs and Listeners will be furloughed from work and will find the next few weeks particularly challenging.  Others will be shielding.  This gives us all an opportunity to share our hobby and support one another during this difficult time.

If you would like more information, please email admin@wessexham.co.uk

Are you interested in Data Modes?
Would you like to be part of a South West Data Net?

data1Wessex Ham is working with the Isle of Avalon Amateur Radio Club to develop a Data Net covering the South West of England.  We've found that by following the propagation rules for maximum useable frequency, and using NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Scatter), we can probably run an effective data net during daylight hours.

That rather precludes the evenings at the moment - and so probably means a weekend net - but if you're interested in joining us, please email us at admin@wessexham.co.uk.

You can read Richard G7LEE's excellent write up of our test here

Can you help us develop Wessex Ham?  We need volunteers to help grow the project.

If you can spare some time to help us, please drop us an email and we'll talk more!
